MACA provides two Conferences annually, one in the
Spring and one in the Fall. Each Conference is sanctioned by MSAPCB for 15
contact hours of continued education. These Conferences are held at the Lake
of the Ozarks, MO and feature qualified speakers from throughout Missouri and
the surrounding states.
The 3-track Conference program covers a variety of
topics, conducted in two and three hour workshops: Track A for
those Counselors and other Professionals just entering the field and Track B
for those Counselors and other Professionals who are already in the field and
Track C for Advanced and/or Specialty Topics
Additionally, at each Conference, MACA tries to provide
DMH/ADA-approved compulsive gambling counselor training. This is
advanced training which can be used toward re-certification of the CCGC
